This was the BEST year EVER! Part 2

Mom and Dad aren't getting any younger, but you'd never know it!
Dad still works for S&I, Mom still teaches piano.
When they aren't working, they work out, hike, fish, camp, play at the beach or at the lake, hang out in and around caves, knit, fix cars and help people.

Our sweet Sister missionary is not always serious. In fact, she is sometimes a little crazy. Sometimes a little too goofy.

Hump Day - LOL. That means that she is halfway through her missionary service time commitment. The only thing she'll be delivering is a gospel message.

As the oldest left at home, our Smoy Boy now drives.

He went to Philmont and went shark fishing last summer with Dad and the other scouts.

He attended EFY and went to a formal dance. Sometimes, he is a little crazy.

Rolla was accepted into a new charter school and is doing very well. He received academic honors both grading periods so far. He seems to be the favorite uncle with whom the niece and older nephews have a love/hate relationship.

The young marrieds are living and loving and thriving.

Do you blog? Let us know so that we can get caught up on the life and times of you and yours.
Until next year, have a Merry Christmas!

This was the BEST year EVER! Part 1

Even though...
...my friend, Gwen, was hit by a car while she was walking her dog and was confined to a rehab center for seven months before returning to her home,
...we said, "Goodbye!" to our sweet Lynner Fish,
...our son suffered a relapse from sobriety and sanity,
...we had our share of "ou'ies",

...  This was the BEST year EVER!
After all,
...we celebrated healing,
...birth,
...missionary successes,
...and more healing!

Spending time with one another at conferences, graduations, reunions, and holidays is what we love most!

It's so fun to see growth, change, firsts, and family love!
