A Son is Born

Gaga Goose was born early in the year to Mother Goose and Global Goose, increasing their pride to four. 

Grandma (Golden Goose) attended the birth while Grandpa (Commander Goose) held down the nest of older birds: Gi Goose, Goo Goose, and Silly Goose.
When Goose Commander, Caboose Goose and Golden Goose departed the roost and headed home, disaster struck when a four-car collision caused considerable damage to the car they were driving. Fortunately, no one was badly hurt and they weren't responsible for the crash. Unfortunately, they were borrowing a friend’s car, and it was totaled. Fortunately, there was room for them in the nearby inn, and they knelt in prayer and gave thanks for the heavenly host of protection of many bodies and the blessing of both preserved and newborn
life. 

December 2016 - WHITE ELEPHANT

Boo Boo (hereafter referred to as Goose Commander) and Cupcake (aka Golden Goose) went to a White Elephant Christmas Get-together. GC unwrapped his box to find a pair of rearview, spectacles staring up at him. These lenses provide a practical means of forward viewing while backward glancing, useful for such activities as cycling, hiking with young children, and, of course, spying. As we look to the coming year with wishful desire and wonder, we pause temporarily to reflect on the magical blessings and memories of 2016 within the frame of the Christmas present.
